Jack & the Bean seeks to increase the employment rate for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The goal is to provide a positive, empowering environment that supports individuals to train, gain and contribute various skills related to employment, independent living, self esteem, and community engagement.

Meet Jack!
Jack is an amazing young man with moderate autism. He loves to laugh, play anything Super Mario related, make you yummy drinks and meet new people!
Jack is the third of five children of Terry and Melanie Adkins. He was diagnosed with autism at 2.5 year old, and said his first word at the age of 3. Jack has been loved by his family and extended family of friends who have encouraged him through his growth and development. With his public school career coming to an end, Melanie and her dear friend, Beth, started dreaming about what’s next and the idea of Jack & the Bean was born!
